Law College Entrance Exam
Only nearly 250 candidates who pass the annual Law College Entrance
Examination will have the rare opportunity to enter the Law College of Sri Lanka.
This is the fastest way to become a lawyer in Sri Lanka, and you will have the
opportunity to be sworn in as a Supreme Court lawyer less than four years after
completing three years of study and six months of apprenticeship.If you enter the
Sri Lanka Law College, you will have the opportunity to pay the annual facility fee
(around Rs. 15,000) and will not have to incur any expenses other than the
examination fee.

GCE (Advanced Level) Two (C) passes and one (S) pass.

(C) pass in Ordinary Level Sinhala or Tamil and English

There is no age limit.

Exam: June of each year
Syllabus:

General Knowledge and General Intelligence (Duration 2 hours / 100 marks)

Language Skills(Duration 3 hours / 100 marks)
(Sinhala or English or Tamil)

More than 50 marks should be obtained for one question paper to pass the
examination.
Language medium selection

Sinhala or Tamil language, the language test question paper should be in English.

English, the language test question paper should be in Sinhala or Tamil medium.
